Victor Delerme, CPA

Victor is a long-time resident of Atlanta. He has extensive accounting and tax experience dating back to 2004. He is multi-lingual and services business owners and high net worth clients globally.

Victor started Delerme CPA in 2009 to help small business owners simplify their financial lives and save substantial money in tax. Today, he services small business owners throughout the United States, South America, Latin America, Caribbean, and throughout Europe. With his international tax experience and multi-lingual capabilities, he is able to minimize taxes for small businesses as they evolve from start-ups to multi-state to multi-national.

Prior to opening his own CPA practice, Victor had the opportunity to work at KPMG in international tax and with a regional CPA firm in Atlanta that services manufacturing, distribution and technology businesses. His extensive knowledge of international tax in a global economy is ideally suited for emerging businesses.

Victor is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Georgia. His is also a licensed CPA in Puerto Rico.

Edgardo Mercado, CPA

Edgardo is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) based in Orlando, Florida, with a strong background in tax planning, IRS notice resolution, and tax management for small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in the retail sector. He earned his degree from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez, and has since honed his skills in internal auditing, helping South American retail companies improve their operations with better procedures and controls. When he’s not working, Edgardo loves spending time in nature, exploring the beaches, rivers, and springs in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

Katherine Gonzalez, CPA

Katherine was born and raised in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Even though her current address reads San Juan, she is a "brujita" at heart. She is a mother of two beautiful and intelligent girls and two adorable dogs. She loves to cook, travel, listen to music, dance, spend time with her dogs, friends, and family. She is an avid tennis fan and plans to visit and experience all Grand Slams. She has represented Puerto Rico in beauty pageants, bringing home the crown, and in sports, also bringing home the trophy. She wants to complete this triangle by representing Puerto Rico professionally.

Being a daughter of two physicians, she had her career path drawn out. Kathy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science. Her father deviated her to a different route, and she graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. In May 2013 she became a CPA.

Kathy's professional toil started with the Drug Enforcement Administration, DEA, back in 2006 as an Accountant Technician. She then worked as an underwriter at MAPFRE PRAICO Insurance Company. She also worked and collaborated with various well known CPA firms in Puerto Rico, such as: JLM & Co., Aquino, de Cordova & Alfaro and Vega Palau. Her last role as Assistant Executive Director with Puerto Rico House Finance. She has big projects and goals to accomplish in Delerme CPA.

She is planning to continue her professional growth by pursuing to become an Enrolled Agent and Certified Payroll Professional.

Yanira Torres, CPA and Accounting Manager

Yanira (Yani) Torres Agrait, is the Accounting Manager at Delerme CPA and has more than 10 years of combined experience in public accounting and private sector. Yani's diverse experience has provided her the opportunity to collaborate in projects obtaining understanding of the IFRS and hyperinflationary economies, diversifying its technical knowledge beyond the USGAAP.

Yani is a native of Puerto Rico and graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Charter Global Management Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Colegio de Contadores Publicos de Puerto Rico.

She is an enthusiastic sailor, and is the proud owner of a senior dog.

Erika Perez - Tax Preparation Specialist

Erika Perez is a proud Nuyorican, born and raised in the Bronx. She moved to Georgia with her family in 2013, looking for a place that provided a slower pace from the NYC hustle and bustle.

Erika joined the Delerme team in December 2014. She started part time as an admin and has grown with the firm, thus wearing many hats. She provides many services to the Delerme clients, including but not limited to tax preparation, payroll and sales tax filings, research and resolutions, and International Tax and Incentives, such as ACT 60 and PR compliance.

Erika takes pride in the work she does and is very invested in providing clients the tools they need for their financial success.

Diego Carrasquero - Tax Preparation Specialist

Diego is originally from Valencia, Venezuela where he went to school in Universidad de Carabobo to earn his accountant degree. After that, he worked a few years as a Cost Analyst. He took the risk to restart his life in another country, where he originally started to study a new career, majoring in Business Administration at Oglethorpe University, but after the first couple of semesters he changed it to Accounting again, because he understood that it was the career that he loved. Diego has been working with taxes for the past five years.

He loves going to the movie theater, watching soccer, hiking, and playing with his dog Rover.

Roxanna Rivera - Operations Manager

Roxanna Rivera is the Operations Manager at Delerme CPA. She is a native of Puerto Rico, and graduated from the University of Mayaguez in 2014.

Roxanna holds a bachelor’s degree in Science and Business Administration with a minor in Marketing with 6+ years of experience in the finance and administrative fields. Achieving financial goals for small business is her passion.

She enjoys spending time at the lake, visiting wineries and occasionally travels and works at the same time. Her favorite car is a Corvette which she currently owns.

Aldismary Rivera, E.A. and Customer Success Manager

Aldismary is a tax professional and earned a bachelor degree at Georgia State University. She is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and has extensive experience in US Federal Taxation. Aldismary is also keen in providing the best tax support and consulting to our clients.

Known by her friends, family and colleagues as Aldis, native from Anasco Puerto Rico. Aldis enjoys in her leisure time arts, culture and fashion trends.

Angel Suarez - Business Development Representative

With a solid educational background in both accounting and marketing, Angel combines analytical expertise with creative marketing insights. This powerful combination allows him to approach sales strategies with a unique perspective, ensuring both data-driven and innovative approaches that are essential for driving growth.

Angel resides in Puerto Rico and his passion lies in building meaningful and long-lasting business relationships. His commitment to understanding client needs, coupled with his strong interpersonal skills, enable him to foster lasting partnerships with our clients.

Luis Blanco - Business Development Representative

Originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with a minor in project management. With a diverse background in Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Consulting, Luis has contributed to various Fortune 500 companies across the United States. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer in the Healthcare Technology industry, where he played a key role in securing government contracts, grants, and international distribution deals for private companies. Additionally, Luis is a certified Real Estate Broker in Puerto Rico, fluent in multiple languages. In his personal time, Luis enjoys playing golf, staying active at the gym, and traveling.

Chris Trevino - Business Development Representative

Chris brings a rare combination of creativity, empathy, and precision honed through years of diverse experiences to Delerme CPA. A graduate of SCAD with a B.F.A. in Performing Arts and a minor in Film/TV Casting, Chris’s education refined his communication skills and shaped his understanding of varied perspectives. His career journey has led him across the country, where he’s immersed himself in different communities, deepening his appreciation for individuals’ unique needs and values.

Starting in real estate and later transitioning into the legal field, Chris developed a reputation for his white-glove approach to client service, rooted in a commitment to listening, supporting, and advocating. Clients can expect a thoughtful, tailored experience in every interaction with Chris, who strives to make each client feel fully valued and understood.

Karina Soto - Tax Administrative Assistant

Karina is from Maracaibo, Venezuela, where she graduated as a Lawyer from Universidad del Zulia. She worked in Corporate Law mostly which later lead to winning a scholarship from Fundación Carolina granted by BBVA in 2008. This scholarship allowed Karina to complete an LLM in International Legal Practice in Madrid Spain, at IE Law School, where she learned skills in Contract Law, Intellectual Property, Due Diligence and Compliance in an International work frame. Later, Karina was able to complete her thesis at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Personal Data Protection and Privacy Law.

Karina is a highly motivated person at our office, she oversees that due diligence is done with all our clients when it comes to tax preparation and tax filing. Karina also enjoys hosting the corporate events agenda from our office, she has amazing social skills, and keeps everyone from Delerme CPA in good spirit.

Irlanda Chacin - Office Administrator

Irlanda is from Maracaibo, Venezuela where she graduated as a Lawyer at the Universidad Rafael Urdaneta.

While studying for her Bachelor’s Degree, she was granted an internship in one of the major Financial Institute of the country, the Western Bank. She then started her working experience with a family owned business, a Contractor Company, where she managed an important client portfolio and also kept close communication with Public Offices when needed.

Irlanda is highly driven and efficient, always delivers her best. Her investigative and curious character has helped the Team being at top of things. She also strives for keeping great communication at the office as well as with the clients.

In her role as Administrative Assistant, she guarantees our communications with our clients are in order, to make sure all information provided by our clients is consistent and clear.

Clemente Mejias - Customer Success Strategist

Clemente Mejias is a Technology Associate at Delerme CPA. He is orignally from Venezuela.

Clemente earned a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, and specializes in data analysis, automation, and web applications development.

He enjoys soccer, camping and hiking.

Ashley Rosales - Marketing Coordinator

Ashley grew up immersed in Guatemala City’s vibrant culture. Immigrating to the United States in 2013, she's spent the last decade focusing on building small businesses through strategic marketing and aesthetic content creation.

With a passion for entrepreneurship, Ashley continues to craft unique narratives that not only captivate audiences but also drive the success of small businesses.

Omar Gonzales - IT Manager

With over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Omar took Delerme CPA into a very efficient and seamless transition to a cloud based service environment. Omar has implemented a number of technology tools and applications that has made our service delivery and communications between our associates and clients a top notch one.

Omar is native from Manati Puerto Rico. In his leisure time, Omar plays “bongos” in a salsa band.
